Through its HDMI connection, it’s easier than ever to have the best possible picture and audio quality. the dve-5300 uses an automotive-grade dvd mechanism for on-the-road reliability and has an optical output for an optional processor (processor sold separately). media playback options include dvd video, dvd+r/rw, cd-r/rw, divx, jpeg, and mp3. when the dve-5300 is used with the x108u or ine-w967hd, the HDMI capability from the mech-less restyle dash system can be retained through the optional kcx-630hd HDMI switcher (sold separately).
More than just an in-dash add-on
The dve-5300 also works with an optional alpine rear seat flip-down monitor (sold separately) so you can keep the back seat passengers entertained on long road trips.
